The engine number is stamped on the top of the engine near the chainguard bolt, if it's the same as later models. According to the information on the website YD1S would be a frame number from a bike.
Engine number YD1 would be an engine number from a bike. That's if I have interpreted the information correctly. Why they chose 18th Noverber I do not know, but I suppose it had to start sometime.
