Owners and staff at this place are wonderful. Typical older style pub with dining room, some memorabilia about the room and a typical country pub menu. We both had roast of the day, pork with great crackling, and whilst the gravy was not gluten free What a great place. We came for lunch with the kids and were treated to genuine country hospitality.
Wendy the proprietor was friendly and very informative and the pub is a beautiful example of period building Delicious steak burgers and friendly service This poor girl got abused too! Just a short walk up from the Caravan Park. Great old character pub full of local characters too.

Old decor but period. Good old fire was burning, nice seating. We had enquired about when dinner would be starting when ordering drinks at Clumsy-elegant I would say. Not exceeding the decent pub food in intra-british understanding. Enthousiastic and well prepared dishes in outback terms.

We are in the table-lands though. The hotel is most characterfu. Fireplace in highland tropics, though the temperature. Great food, great prices, excellent service Tanya went out of her way to accommodate us. A lovely setting with a roaring fireplace winter only in this the highest hotel in Queensland. The meals are of a high standard and the staff friandly and helpful.
Had dinner 2 consecutive nights good sixe top quality produce prices fair and ambience great, log fire wow. Friendly service and great food what more could you ask for?
