In this case if you're superficial and conceited that's not valuable to me. I can't not deal with a guy that is full of himself. I also have a thing for Brainiacs people who are somewhat nerdy so they don't tend to be your typical lip licking jerk. Intelligence is a valuable trait so I would rate a average smart guy to be more valuable than a superficial pretty boy and the proof always shows up later in life on who would have been a better value.
I'm starting to think that someone I know is more comfortable dating someone somewhat inferior to her in some way. May it be financially, career wise, ambition or upbringing. I think she's just more comfortable dealing with someone who isn't her equal or better. Its probably more subconscious for a woman to do it. I readily admit that I have had boyfriends in the past that were not ready for prime time.

It happened about a week ago. I get a lot of that also. I finished up my first year of college this spring, I'm older than the typical college age, and I only made 1 real friend that I still hang out with. The rest of the people I met would spend time with me during the semester but once class was over that was the end of it, despite having their number and everything. The girls that I pursued ended up having long distance bfs, so that ended as well now that they are reunited lol.
Besides that, I've been approaching random women at the gym, one was really into me but I screwed that up.

Another one I talked to was kind of quiet when I first approached but today she was watching me, I really didn't feel like talking to her though. I actually have a hard time meeting women though, most give me an attitude and put up barriers that I'm not really willing to break down.
