There are 3 types of priority: Players in low priority will not gain battle points from the match, will find games more slowly, and will only be put with other players in low priority. Low priority is a common punishment for abandonment. Base priority is granted to any player when they enter a matchmaking queue provided that they are not in low priority. High priority is granted when a player is returned to queue after a recently failed matchmaking attempt due to another player failing to connect to the game or declining the Ready Check.
Players may be banned from matchmaking for a period of time due to several offenses. Match quality is presumably determined by a combination of the player's behavior score and their account flags value. Players with a high behavior score get matched with other players with a high score and vice versa.

I found epic had acknowledged the idea of possibly making an MMR system, but that wasn't enough. I played a couple games on solos with my account that had a lot of wins, and took a tally of how many pro builders I ran into in ten games, how many kills I got in ten games, and how many wins I got in ten games. I then did the same on a new account, and on my brother's account he is trash, no wins.
The results were shocking. This seems to be able to figure out that if you are op in ur first few games you are a smurf, but if you use somebody else's trash account, it might not realize. I accidentally posted this in save the world section before. MMR is in fortnite, I have a lot of evidence, shown above. This is bad, because a game like fortnite does not work with MMR system. It removes the sense of making progress, and ruins the game. There is no MMR, it's just a coincidence. I have strings of matches where every single player I run into clearly has no idea what they are doing, then I'll play several matches in a row where everyone is bob the builder with a shotgun.
