Counter-strike reports
The casual mode is much different and is way too casual for some players and is nothing like a competitive game. This detracts people from it and makes them just join into competitive games, which deters and annoys the super competitive players. These clashes in-game means that players stop beginning to like it and stop playing.
If not, many players decided to play on third-party clients that host servers with a more competitive and better ranking system than Valve's.

Although this is not a bad option and keeps players playing the game, it is still not the best situation. The system that comes with the game should be the best and the best players should not resort to paying more money for a better system.
This would satisfy the players who want to be super competitive and the players who still want to play but have fun in the game that they know. The overall experience for these players would be much better and matchmaking would be more enjoyable. For the ranks themselves, adding more ranks all across the board would also be beneficial. It would make the ranks smaller and would make the game much more even and fair.

Obviously, this would all depend on the player base of the game and how many people are playing at a certain time. These changes would revolutionize the game and make it a much better experience.
